Boker
Boker vs Pepperi

Pepperi is built for a company with an IT department. You probably are not one.

Pepperi is a capable enterprise platform sold in modules, quoted per deal, and rolled out over months. Boker is one product at $49 per user per month, everything included, live in a day. If you have an ERP team and a trade promotions budget, read on and pick honestly.

01 · Why people switch

You cannot find out what it costs

Pricing is quote-based and modular. Public write-ups put plans around $500 to $1,500 a month before per-user licenses, before modules, before implementation. Reviewers call the pricing unclear and say the quote surprised them. Boker is $49 per user per month, published on the pricing page.

It expects an IT department

Reviewers describe Pepperi as built for a company with an IT department, an ERP system, and a sales team to manage. That is a fair description of the product, not a knock on it. It is the wrong shape for a distributor with 6 reps who needs orders in and invoices out.

You buy the platform, then buy the pieces

B2B ecommerce, field sales, trade promotions, retail execution, route accounting, inside sales, and analytics are sold as separate modules. Flexible if you have a procurement process. Expensive and slow if you just want your reps ordering on Monday.

03 · Why Boker

One product, one price.

Every feature is in the $49. No module to unlock, no tier that hides AR aging, no implementation statement of work. You can read the price on the website and do the math yourself before you talk to anyone.

We are honest about the ceiling.

Pepperi does trade promotions, route accounting, retail execution, and certified ERP connectors properly. If those are load-bearing for your business, buy Pepperi. We would rather tell you now than lose you in month four.

Ordering and money on one surface.

Pepperi generally expects your ERP to own the ledger. Boker keeps orders, invoices, payments, and per-account balances in one place, so a rep in the field can see that an account is 45 days past due before writing the order.

04 · Questions

How much does Pepperi actually cost?

They do not publish it. Pricing is quote-based and modular. Public write-ups put plans around $500 a month for Pro and $1,500 a month for Corporate, before per-user licenses, module fees, and implementation. Get a quote from them directly and compare it to $49 per user per month with nothing else attached.

Is Boker just a cheaper Pepperi?

No. It is a smaller product on purpose. Pepperi covers trade promotions, route accounting, retail execution, and deep ERP integration. Boker does not do those and is not planning to. Boker covers ordering, pricing, invoicing, and collections, and does those without an implementation project.

We run DSD routes. Should we still look at Boker?

Probably not, and we will say so on the call. Route accounting and DSD are genuinely Pepperi strengths. If routes are occasional and the daily job is writing orders and chasing invoices, Boker fits.

Do we need an IT person to run Boker?

No. There is no server to configure, no ERP prerequisite, and no integration to certify. If your reps can text, they can run Boker on day one. Setup is a day, not a quarter.

Can you migrate us off Pepperi?

Yes. Products, customers, addresses, and order history come over during onboarding, and AI rebuilds your catalog structure. It is part of the product, not a quote.
